Yokogawa Input/Output Module

Yokogawa's input/output (I/O) modules are indispensable components in industrial automation systems, serving as the vital link between the physical world and control systems. They are responsible for receiving signals from sensors and other field devices, as well as transmitting control signals to actuators.

Types of Modules

Yokogawa offers a diverse range of I/O modules tailored to different industrial application requirements. These modules can be broadly categorized into two main types:

  • Digital Input/Output (DIO) Modules:
These modules handle discrete on/off signals. They receive signals from switches, buttons, and other digital sensors, and send control signals to relays, solenoids, and other digital actuators.
  • Analog Input/Output (AIO) Modules:
These modules handle continuous analog signals. They receive signals from sensors such as temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, and flow meters, and send analog control signals to devices like variable speed drives and control valves.
