Installation and Configuration

Ensure the PACSystems RX7i CPU has release 2.00 or later firmware and the required components are in place before installation. The module should be installed in RX7i Rack 0, ideally in slots 4 and 3 for priority. Power off the rack before inserting the module, connect the fiber optic cables as per the ring topology, and power on the system. Configuration parameters include Redundant Transfer Mode, Node ID, Network Memory Offset, Rogue Master, and Interrupt enable.
