Description

The EMERSON VE6101 is part of the DeltaVTM modular I/O subsystem. It offers easy installation and maintenance, with a modular design that allows flexible installation. The power/controller carrier contains internal power buses, eliminating the need for external cabling to connect the system power supply to the DeltaV controller and I/O interface carriers.

Features and Technical Specifications

• Modular Design: Allows flexible installation. Mount the power/controller carrier on a T-type DIN rail, and the I/O interface carrier plugs onto it.
• Online Expansion: Additional 8-wide carriers can be added online as needed.
• Integrated Power Distribution: Power distribution is integrated into the carriers, simplifying power and grounding. Carriers also have an integrated shield ground bar to isolate and drain field noise away from system power.
• I/O Interface Support: Up to 64 I/O interfaces on eight 8-wide I/O interface carriers are supported by a single I/O subsystem.
• Field Power Options: Two types of 8-wide I/O interface carriers are available—one with individual field power per card slot and another that connects each set of field power terminals to two I/O cards.
